School Opening Ceremony
At the beginning of the New Year, everything comes back to life. On the morning of 6th February, Anqing Foreign Language School's east campus held a grand opening ceremony for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. All the teachers and students of both the Junior High and Senior High School Divisions dressed in school uniforms, and gathered in the playground full of longing and enthusiasm. The ceremony consisted of three agendas and was bilingually hosted by two students Zheng Rui and Wang Han, both in Chinese and English.
To be concrete, as to the first item on the agenda: the entrance of the flag guard. Accompanied by the loud national anthem, the bright five-star red flag rose slowly. All the teachers and students stood in respect, who were looking forward to a new journey and a new future.
When it comes to the second agenda: student representative Zha Wujun of Class 6, Grade 11 spoke on stage.
Furthermore, as to the third item: Vice Principal Liu Bing delivered a keynote speech in which he hoped that in the new semester, everyone could realize their wishes through their own efforts. Meanwhile, it's expected that every student would be a good teenager, and every teacher would be a good teacher and friend of students!
To sum up, the new semester means new challenges, new dreams and new glory. We have embarked on a new journey in the new semester. Thus, let us greet the best future of Anqing Foreign Language School with the most confident state, and write a brilliant new chapter!
